Nature’s best breakfast

The causes of “irregularity” are many: stress, virus, reaction to a particular food, or perhaps even a change in your mood or the season. Whatever the cause, the symptoms are the same and you are left feeling very uncomfortable.

Recipe

Bircher Muesli, is a Swiss, German dish based on raw rolled oats and other ingredients like fresh fruits, nuts, milk and yogurt, developed around 1900 by a physician for patients in his hospital where a diet, rich in fresh fruits and vegetable, was an essential part of therapy.

  • 1 Tbsp oats
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 Tbsp of nut milk of your choice
  • 1 Tbsp of nut yogurt of your choice
  • 1 grated apple
  • 1-2 drops of lemon essential oil

Soak the oats and chia for 1 hour in milk and yogurt. Grate the apple and add lemon essential oil over, just before eating.

You can also try a Tbsp of  lemon juice in a glass of hot water to start your day off with renewed energy while dealing with that condition we don’t like to talk about- irregularity!
